Loft Conversions

Loft conversions can be a fantastic way of adding a valuable and attractive room to your home. A Master suite, a teenager’s bedroom, studies and guest rooms – the possibilities are many.

If your loft is to be a warm, safe space which adds value to your home it must pass building regulations, though planning is not usually required unless dormers are added.

Designing loft conversions usually starts with the position and headroom of the stairs and doorways to it; get this right and you will have an attractive space that feels like it belongs to the house; get it wrong and you’ll have an awkward space that never feels quite right.

We’re always happy to advise, feel welcome to call.

Full Width Dormer

This is a full width rear dormer with a strong, light ,sheathed timber frame construction with mesh reinforced render and breather membrane. This gives the finished look of traditional, durable render with the construction and structural advantages of a strong and relatively light timber frame.

En Suite Wetroom

This beautiful little en suite wetroom was created in a tiny sloping space, but by using a certain type of velux window to create useable headroom at the showering area and careful positioning of toilet and basin, it works nicely even if you're 6ft 2 tall

Dormer Conversion

This dormer conversion involved widening an existing dormer, changing flat roof drainage direction and re-roofing in fibre glass, upgrading the insulation of existing parts and creating a useful guest bedroom in the new space.
